Graveside services for Troy Ray Andrews, 67, of Lubbock, will be 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, at Resthaven Memorial Park, with Pastor Michael Welch officiating.

Troy passed away on Feb. 12, 2009. He was born on May 31, 1941, in Clovis, N.M., to the late John and Eddie Lilly (Dollison) Andrews. On May 10, 1958, he married Peggy Joyce (Graves), in Lubbock.

Troy is preceded in death by both parents and nine siblings. He is survived by three siblings, Edith Greer, Guy Andrews, Wanda and husband Wayne Welch; three sons, Damon and wife Jill of Lubbock, Johnny and wife Kelly of Georgetown, Richard and wife Diane of Houston; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Troy was a registered Master Electrician and a Staff Sergeant in the Texas State Guard, (Honorably Discharged - 1976). After his retirement, he enjoyed spending time restoring his 1928 Ford Flatbed truck, watching old westerns, and most recently, collecting old coins.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2009, at Resthaven Funeral Home.
