FLORENCE - Pearline Johnson Milligan , age 75, widow of Von Milligan, Jr, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 22, in the chapel of Belk Funeral Home, with burial following in Grove Hill Cemetery.
Born August 10, 1934 in Horry County, she was a daughter of the late Doc and Zinkie Rabon Johnson. Mrs. Milligan was a devoted housewife and will be remembered as a great mother and a Godly woman. Surviving are her son, Toby (Sharon) Milligan of Florence, a daughter, Glenda Milligan, grandchildren: Glenn (Carmon) Wilkins, Nikki Milligan, David Wisnoski, Joby Milligan, Joshua Milligan, Sara Milligan, Justin Blackmon, Gregory Blackmon, three great-grandchildren, three brothers, K.D. Johnson of Florence, Bobby Johnson of Concord, Billy Johnson of Atlanta, and a sister, Jane Herndon of Hamlet.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Blackmon, a son, Jeff Milligan, brothers:
Grover and J.C. Johnson and sisters; Dot Cooper and Lilly Godbolt.
