Naroy G. Burleigh, son of Winthrop M. Burliegh and Sarah Gile of Effingham, Carroll County, New Hampshire, married first to Hannah J. Simpson b. 1841 Bridgton, Cumberland, Maine; daughter of Benjamin and Jane Simpson. Hannah died 24 Dec 1882 in Boston, Suffolk, MA.
Naroy Burleigh and Hannah Simpson had a daughter, Mabel Dell Burleigh b. Sept 1876 in Boston, Suffolk, MA. Mabel was married 12 Aug 1909 in Medford, Middlesex, MA to Herman Lawrence Chase b. 1848 in Mobile, Alabama; son of David L Chase and Alice L Brigham.
Naroy married second to Sarah Emily Googins (b. 1848 in Boston) on 03 Nov 1886 in Boston, Suffolk, MA; daughter of Mark and Mary Googins. Sarah was previously married to William S. Skolfield on 11 Oct 1864 in Boston, MA.
He was a cabinet maker, and a patrolman at Boston several years; later was chief of police at Waltham, Mass.
