Evelyn Fay Parker Adams, 79, died Monday, July 16, 2007, in Bullhead City, Ariz. She was born July 28, 1927, in Fort Smith to Troy and Esther Parker. She received her education at Alma High School. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Murl "Sonny" Parker; and her son, Kenneth "Kenny" Adams.

She is survived by her companion, Tom Christian of Bullhead City, Ariz.; two daughters, Alice Forhan of Tukwila, Wash., and Judy Gustafson of Vancouver, Wash.; three sisters, Loraine Randall of Alma, Pearl Elsenhout and Bonnie Salcido, both of Bullhead City, Ariz.; one brother, Lee Roy Parker; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Private viewing and visitation will be held in Bullhead City, Ariz. The body will be cremated in Arizona. Obituary submitted by Edwards Funeral Home.

Evelyn Christian died last night, July 16, 2007, at 9:00 p.m. in Bullhead City, Arizona, where she lived for the last two years with her husband. She was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas on July 28, 1907 to Troy Lee Parker and Esther Walker Parker. She married Paul Adams on October 29, 1944. They had three children: Kenneth Adams, Alice Forhan, and Judy Gustafson. She enjoyed playing pinochle at the Olympia V.F.W., where she was a Life Member; she also belonged to the Olympia Moose Lodge. She married Tom Christian on September 12, 1972 in Seattle, and they moved to Olympia. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Troy Parker and Murl Parker, and son, Kenneth. Evelyn is survived by her husband, Tom Christian; daughters, Judy (Jim) Gustafson, of Vancouver, Washington, and Alice (Tim) Forhan, of Seattle, Washington; sisters, Bonnie Salcido, Pearl Elsenhout, and Lee Roy Parker, of Bullhead City, Arizona, and Loreen Randall, of Alma, Arizona; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Cremated, Location of ashes is unknown.
