Robert O. Baker, Sr., 73, a retired engineer, of Barneston, Honey Brook RD 1, died Wednesday in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Mahanoy Plane, he was the son of the late Harry and Emma Bensinger Baker and husband of Maude Jones Baker. He lived in West Hollywood Fla., before his move three years ago to Barneston.
He was a retired designing engineer from the Naval Aircraft factory, Philadelphia Naval Yard, Mr. Baker was a veteran of World War I and a member of Union Lodge 479, F & AM of Birdsboro.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons Robert O. Jr., of Crestmont Farms, Downingtown; William E., of Honeybrook RD 1, and Richard C., of Lexington, N.C.; a daughter, Betty, wife of David McKeag of Ireland; two brothers, Charles of California, and Guy, of Flourtown; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Saltenberger, of Germantown and Mrs. Helen Foster, of Philadelphia; 1 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Ralph W. Ralston Funeral Home, 107 W. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown, Pa., on Monday, March 31, 1969, at 11 o'clock a.m. Interment Arlington Cemetery, Upper Darby. Viewing from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday morning.
