Died 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, 1995, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. He was 75, a native of Larto and resident of Zachary. He was a retired carpenter and U.S. Marine Corps veteran of World War II. Visiting was held at Hollabaugh-Spindle Funeral Home, 1553 Wooddale Blvd. at Tom Drive, 5 to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 8 a.m. until religious services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Terrell Hebert. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Baker. Survived bywife, Helen M. Adams, Zachary; three sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Joyce Adams, Baker, Shelly and Thelda Adams, Greenwell Springs, and Mark and Cathy Adams, Baton Rouge; four sisters, Edith Self, Shreveport, Velma Hunter and Eloise Wooddall, bothof Pineville, Rita Sayes, Deville; four brothers, Lloyd and Huey Adams, both of New Orleans, Joe Adams, Pineville, and Roy Cook, Alexandria; seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents. He was a member of a Moose lodge.
