Deceased Name: Lee Thomas Abbott
HARDINSBURG - Lee Thomas Abbott, 74, of Hardinsburg died Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born in New Albany, Ind., owned and operated Abbott and Tanner Jewelers and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. He was a member of Hardinsburg Masonic Lodge 67 and Hardinsburg Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5831. He was a former Breckinridge County judge pro tem and was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Florence Lemmon Abbott; two daughters, Linda St. Clair of Union City, Tenn., and Lois Tanner of Hardinsburg; a grandchild; a great-grandchild; a brother, Donald Green of New Albany, Ind.; and two sisters, Charlotte Green and Edna Spencer of Elizabeth, Ind.

Services are at 10 a.m. Friday at Friendship Baptist Church in Hardinsburg. Burial will be in Ivy Hill Cemetery in Hardinsburg. Visitation is from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today at Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg.
