Dorothy Mae Crabtree, 63, of Iberia died March 29, 1989 at her home. She was born Aug. 17, 1925 in Miller County to Charles Raymond and Dora Mae Brumley Hale, who survive at Iberia. She was married Nov. 24, 1956 in St. Louis to Leroy James Crabtree, who survives. Mrs. Crabtree was a member of the Iberia First Baptist Church.
Other survivors are a son, Terrance L. Crabtree of Seattle, Wash.; two daughters, Peggy Morgan of Alexandria, Va., and Nancy Massie of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Iberia First Baptist Church with the Rev. Haskell M. Orrick officiating. Burial was in Freedom Cemetery near Dixon under the direction of Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home of Dixon. Memorial contributions are suggested to the cemetery's perpetual care fund.
