Bertha Gold, wife of Jonathan Gold, died at her home near School, Mo., Nov. 1, 1918, aged 35 years.
She was sick for about three weeks, but her death came as a shock to her many friends. She was a loving, kind-hearted wife and mother, She leaves a husband and seven children to cherish her memory.
The mother's kind words and loving deeds will be greatly missed in the home, but we must consider God's will be done, and not ours. She fell sweetly asleep in Jesus! May God help the husband and children to meet the wife and mother in that eternal home.
She was always ready with willing hands, to help friends and neighbors in time of need. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Cochran, and the remains were laid to rest in the White cemetery. The floral offerings by friends were many and beautiful.
