Benjamin G. Hake was the son of Henry "Harry" Hake and Catherine Good Hake. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Andrew Hake and Anna Maria Copehafer Hake.
In 1880 Benjamin was living with his parents in Manchester, York County. He married Annie in about 1880. Annie was born 22 February 1857 in Pennsylvania and died on 18 August 1923. In 1920 Benjamin and Annie were living at 720 Wallace, in York. Benjamin was employed by the York Safe and Lock Company.
In 1930 Benjamin was widowed and living in Mount Rainier, Prince George's County, Maryland with his daughter Florence N. Hake Kopp, her husband Clarence and son La Verne.
