A native of Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Hamrick and Ida Humphries Hamrick. She was a retired caregiver and was the oldest member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry J. Bolton; two sons, J.B. Bolton and Clinton "Clint" Bolton; and her daughter, Frances B. Wilson.
She is survived by her son, Don Bolton and his wife, Melvin, of Shelby; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral: Wednesday, Aug. 5, 3 p.m., Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel
Visitation: The family will receive friends Wednesday, 1:30 to 3 p.m., before the service, at the funeral home.
