Frederick William Brown Sr., 91, of Reisterstown, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore.

Born April 18, 1919, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Franklin Snyder and Anna Barbara Parr Brown.

He was the husband of Mary Margaret Brown.

He was very active in the Reisterstown Senior Center, where he played keyboard as late as New Years Eve. He was a former member of the Reisterstown Moose and a long time parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Glyndon.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children and spouses Mary Frances and Paul Wright, of Owings Mills, and Frederick W. Jr. and Marie Brown, of Pasadena; grandchildren Steven, Jeffrey and Keith Wright, and Lori Stafford; brothers Leroy Brown, of Baltimore, Robert Brown of Reisterstown and George Brown, of Ellicott City; and other relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by brothers William, Edward and Howard Brown.
