Wilford Lee Crawford, 66, passed away March 9, 1996 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital East in Memphis, Tenn.
Born October 7, 1929 in Poplar Bluff, he is the son of the late Rollen Crawford and Myrtle Williams Crawford.
He attended schools in Caruthersville, Mo. and was a 1949 graduate of Caruthersville High School.
Crawford enlisted in the United States Army serving in the Korean War. He was employed as a journeyman lineman by Ark-Mo Power Company before his retirement.
Survivors include one son, Jeff Crawford of Overland Park, Kan.; two brothers, Leon Crawford of Alton, Ill. and Kenneth Crawford of Caruthersville, Mo.; two sisters, Doris Shipp of Memphis and Evelyn Sammons of Hot Springs, Ark. and two grandchildren, Jenny and Amanda.
Graveside services were held, March 11 at 10:30 a.m. at the Maple Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Lee officiating.
