Winford "Bill" Spoon, 60, a resident of 350 Northeast Street, Mooresville, died Wednesday at his home after an illness. A Mooresville native, he was born May 15, 1921 to Carl F. and Myrtle Ethel Stringer Spoon. Survivors include his wife, the former Virginia Huth; two sons, Daniel and Jeffrey Spoon, both of Mooresville; a daughter, Donna Clutts of Greenwood; a stepson, Delbert Huth of Wisconsin; a sister, Jean York of Indianapolis; and three grandchildren. Mr. Spoon was an employee in the maintenance department at Public Service Indiana. He belonged to the Mooresville F&AM and the Scottish Rite. The Rev Jim Moody will conduct the funeral Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Carlisle and Son Funeral Chapel in Mooresville. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. this evening and from 2 until 9 p.m. on Friday.
