Irma Walters Garner, 80, of Marietta, Georgia, died april 4, 2010. She was born in Greeneville, Tenn., and graduated from Tennessee Technological University at Cookeville, Tenn. Mrs. Garner taught at Sprayberry High School from 1953 to 1957 and retired in 1989. "She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother," her family stated.

Irma Walters Garner, 80, of Marietta died Sunday, April 4, 2010. Mrs. Garner was born in Greeneville, TN. She graduated from Tennessee Tech. She taught at Sprayberry High School from 1953-1957 and retired in 1989. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, W.L. Garner of Marietta; one son, Larry Garner and Stephanie Betteridge of Marietta; two daughters, Linda Rushing and husband, Tommie of Statesboro, Becky Geisel and husband, Brian of Milton; granddaughter, Katie Rushing of Statesboro; grandson, Thomas Rushing of Statesboro; granddaughters, Corinne Geisel, Kendall Geisel, and Natalie Geisel all of Milton, GA.
