Musician. A saxophonist, he was a member of the 1960s British music group Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames. They are best known for the hit "Yeh, Yeh" (1965), and the top ten record "The Ballad of Bonnie and Clyde" (1968). In addition, he gained recognition for his music contributions on The Beatles 1966 track "Got to Get You Into My Life". Born in Cambridge, England, Coe attended the Cambridge School of Art where he studied illustration. Beginning in the 1970, Coe devoted his time to the design industry while continuing his career as a performer with own music band. (bio by: C.S.)
