She was strong. With every challenge her disease brought, she pushed through and bounced back surprising the doctors many times. Each day was a blessing.

Mia Lynn was diagnosed with an acute lymphoblastic leukemia at the tender age of three.

She had an amazing mind and could spend hours reading books out loud and drawing pictures of hearts and rainbows. She enjoyed music, dancing, playing soccer, singing and spending time with her best friend and twin brother, Noah. Pink was her favorite color. She always loved going to the park and absolutely loved to swing. It was one place she could relax and feel free, letting the wind blow on her face and through her hair.

Mia passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 17, 2012. She touched the lives of many people with her courage and strength, and blessed us with her beautiful smile all the way to the end.

She left behind her loving parents Casey Deligeannis and LeLani Benavente, her adoring twin brother Noah, grandparents Brenda and Tom Deligeannis & Sally and Frank Benavente, aunts Robin, Kasha and Connie as well as her uncles Geno, Shawn, and Sam and loving cousins Kyle, Kiera, Andrew and Jonah, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.
