Everett M. Harrison, 65, of Waldron, died Friday, July 11, 2003, at Major Hospital.
Born Dec. 30, 1932, in Foxtown, Ky., he was the son of Taulby and Melinda (Gabbard) Harrison. He married Betty Ryle on Feb. 28, 1975, and she survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Vicky Weaver of Phoenix, Ariz.; one stepdaughter, Shelley James of Indianapolis; one stepson, Troy Lanter of Shelbyville; one brother, James Harrison of Marion; two grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, Doug Harrison, three brothers and one sister.
Mr. Harrison moved from Rush County to Waldron 28 years ago.
He was employed in the construction department of Morton Building Co. in Rushville for 30 years, retiring in 1996.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Glenn E. George Funeral Home, 106 E. Franklin St. in St. Paul.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Todd Stocklin officiating.
Burial will be in Van Pelt Cemetery in Shelby County.
