Anna M. Dufault, 88, of Crookston and formerly of Oklee, Minnesota died at the Riverview Hospital in Crookston on Monday, May 23rd.

Mrs. Dufault was born at Gentilly, Minnesota on December 4, 1899 the daughter of Louis and Valerie Menard Regeimbal. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Gentilly and graduated from St. Scholastica High School at Duluth, Minnesota in 1917. Anna later attended Bemidji State Teachers College and received her teaching certificate in 1919. She taught in rural schools near Crookston for several years. On June 27, 1928 she was united in marriage to Joseph Dufault at Gentilly. The couple lived on a farm near Genilly for a short time before moving to Oklee. They owned and operated Oklee Radio and TV, along with the Oak Theater, until their retirement. They moved to Crookston in 1986 and Anna entered the Villa St. Vincent Nursing Home in May of that year. Joseph Died on April 29, 1988. Anna was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, the Ladies of St. Anne, and the Christian Mothers of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Family members include six children, Elizabeth Brutger of St. Cloud, Minnesota, Jerome Dufault of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Irene Cahill of Burnsville, Minnesota, Larry Dufault of New London, NH, Eleanor Crombie of Northfield, Minnesota and Richard Dufault of Waseca, Minnesota; thirty one grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brotehrs and sisters, Albert of Yakima, Washington, Eli of Alpena, MI, Rene of Crookston, Adolph of Bismarck, North Dakota, Alice (Mrs. Daniel) Dufault and Sr. Eliah Regeimbal, OSB, both of Crookston and Theresa Conroy of Lakota, North Dakota; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph; a daughter, Margaret Miller; a grand son, John Miller; five sisters and three brothers.
