Charlie Cash (92) was born May 19, 1919, in Wadesboro, North Carolina to the union of the late Robert Cash and Lenora Little. He was the only child born to this union.
He moved to Detroit, Michigan at an early age. In 1948 he married Waneda Cash, and to this union four children were born.
Charlie was a avid hunter, and fisherman. He worked many years at Maschmeyer Concrete Company in Macomb County, Michigan. After his long employment with Maschmeyer, he worked at his brother's collision shop (Richardson's Collision) located in Detroit, Michigan until his retirement.
Charlie lived for many years in Detroit, Michigan until his health began to decline, and then moved to Naperville, Illinois to live with his daughter, Lenora and son-in-law Robert, until his death.
He leaves to cherish his memories his son, Kevin of Detroit, Michigan, daughters, Lenora (Robert) Johnson of Naperville, Ill, Kimberly Cash and Deborah Harris both of Detroit, Michigan; his aunts Effie Lee of Chicago, Illinois, and Laura Kitts, of Detroit, Michigan, 21 grandchildren, 5 greatgrandchildren and a host of other relatives.
His ashes were placed with his wife at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery October 29, 2011.
