Granville Theodore, a son born to George William Holloway and Lavina Shelley, had four sisters, Media Ellen (Walters), Anna Mae (Cooper Day Coleman), Sarah Elizabeth (Marquiss) and Geneva Arizona (Smith); and three brothers, Enos Guy, Elven Ervan "Peck" and Harry Leroy.
He married Maude Marie Thompson, 1 Jan 1909, in Rochester, IN. They had one daughter, Opal Marie (Partridge); and five sons, Donald William, Clifford Enos "Bud", Conde Devon, George Dale and Alfred Theodore.
For many years, Granville was the custodian of the Citizens Cemetery, Rochester, Fulton Co., IN.

Granville T. Holloway, 75, 613 West Ninth street, for many years custodian of the Citizens cemetery here before his retirement last year, died at Woodlawn hospital at 2:40 p.m. Thursday (February 14, 1963), his 75th birthdate. He had been a patient since Monday. Born Feb. 14, 1888, in Kosciusko county, he was the son of George W. and Lavina Shelley Holloway. He had lived in Rochester and vicinity most of his life. Mr. Holloway was married to Maude Thompson in Rochester on Jan. 1, 1909. He was a member of the local Eagles lodge and the Fathers Auxiliary of the VFW. Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Opal) Partridge, Rochester; four sons, Donald, Clifford, Conde and George, all of Rochester; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Walters and Mrs. Mae Day, Rochester, and Mrs. Cora McIntyre, Burket, and nieces and nephews. A son, Alfred Theodore, died in 1926. Three brothers also survive, Elvin A. Peck Holloway and Harry Holloway, both Rochester, and Enos Holloway, South Bend. Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home with the Rev. James Rhoads officiating. Burial will be in the Citizens cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Saturday.
