W. H. Coe, who left here with the Tipton Guards, and was afterwards discharged, on account of sickness, died on the 27th ult. at the residence of his father in this county. We believe he died of some affection of the lungs. ********* Co. A. 5th Ia. Inf. and member of the G.A.R. (Discharged in 1861 for disability) (Information from Roster of Iowa Soldiers.)

He died at the residence of his father at Mechanicsville, Cedar Co., Iowa.
