Port Allegany Resident Dies
Bernard Gabler, Vet of War of '98
Bernard Gabler, 71, a residen to fPort Allegany, died Sunday in Veterans Hospital, Batavia, where he had been a patient for 14 months.
A veteran of the Spanish-American War, he had lived in Bradfors for a number of years before going to Port Allegany about 10 years ago.
He is survived by his widow and daughters, Mrs. Albert Newland, also of Port Allegany and Mrs. Harry Humphrey of Buffalo. Burial in Fairview Cemetery
