Lola Amberg was the daughter of Ali G. and Eva King Stahly.
She married Clarence V. Amberg July 21, 1925. He died October 17, 1983.
She is survived by one son, three brothers, a sister, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, were her daughter Eva (Tony) Hannie, son Keith Amberg and an infant son, her parents, three sisters, Etta Stahly, Opal Schirch Roy, and Lorene Reeser and two brothers, Cloyd and Norval Stahly.
Lola graduated from Carlock High School and was a lifelong member of North Danvers Mennonite Church, where she was a choir member for many years, active in the WMA, and a charter member and volunteer of Mennonite Hospital Auxiliary.
She and her husband had a farming operation in the Danvers-Carlock area. Her powerful legacy was her welcoming of family and friends through the sharing of her enduring gifts of hospitality. Baking was her trademark through out her life.
