Isaac, the second son of Robert and Mariah Grubb, was a Burlington stonecutter who was also a member of the Union League during the Civil War. In 1866 he married Mary E. Wiley, daughter of Sylvester and Mary Wiley of Delaware. Isaac and Mary had five children. After their Old York Road farm was sold, they moved to Burlington City where Isaac died.
