OBITUARY

Russell Eugene Hagan, 54, died Wednesday morning from injuries resulting from an automobile accident near Blitchton.

The Statesboro native lived in Bulloch County all of his life. He was an U.S. Army veteran and had been employed by Stubbs Wrecking Company.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Oveda Hagan Lord, Statesboro; five brothers, James Harold Hagan, Statesboro, Inman Dewey Hagan and Robert Franklin Hagan, both of Savannah, John Emory Hagan, Blitchton, and Tommy D. Hagan, Nevils; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service for Mr. Hagan will be today at 4 p.m. at the chapel of the Smith-Tillman Mortuary with the Rev. Max Alderman officiating. Burial will be in Lower Lotts Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Cousins and nephews will serve as active pallbeareers.

The body will remain in the chapel of the Smith-Tillman Mortuary until the funeral hour.

Smith-Tillman Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
