Terry Scott Quarles was born Wednesday, December 10, 1958, in Goodland, Kansas to Jesse Ray and Dawna Joan (Alderson) Quarles.

Scott was an LVN and worked at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, Texas, Wilson N. Jones Hospital, Sherman, Texas, and also worked at home health care facilities in the area. Scott had a unique way of taking care of his patient as well as their family. Since his death, his family has been collecting various "Scott" stories from his former patients and colleagues.

Scott loved to garden, travel, and learn new things. His life was cut short..but he never wanted to be 40 anyway. He was our family compass in that he would let us know if we were doing wrong and would cleverly steer each of us in the right direction.

He is survived by his parents, brother Kip and wife Sarah, sisters Kristie and husband Steve, Kelly and husband Donald and Tracy. He also had 6 nephews and 7 nieces who adored him. It was always a treat to visit uncle Scott. He always had something interesting to teach us all.
