Mary Caroline Byers was the daughter of James Kuykendall Byers and Ary Ann Burch. She first married Bluford Lafayette Moor on February 02, 1851. Bluford died on May 18, 1861. Her second husband was James S. Jones. They married on August 24, 1865 in Shelby County, Alabama.
Some records indicate that Mary died in Crawford County, although the city that they list for Crawford County is Fort Smith (which is Sebastian County)... and still yet some other records indicate that she died in Mansville - which may be Mansfield, Arkansas as Lizzie, her daughter, did live in Mansfield.
Her funeral records indicate that a Mr. James A. Harris and Brother paid for the services or at least part of them, that she died of Liver Disease and is buried at Steep Hill Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Mary's first husband Bluford died two years after their last child was born, she later married James S. Jones and also had children with him. At least one of the censuses list her living with James and still having some of Bluford and her children living with them along with Lizzie, that she had with James.
She and her husband James are buried in Fort Smith, Arkansas...Sebastian County at Steep Hill Cemetery, although I cannot locate a gravemarker, but this is what funeral records indicate.
Mary Caroline was my grandmother's - grandmother.
