Butch Logan

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 5, at Seydler-Hill Funeral Home for Raymond Davis "Butch" Logan, Jr. of Gonzales. He was born September 15, 1950 at Cuero to the late Raymond D. Sr. and Walter Lea Lincecum Logan and died in Gonzales on Sunday, January 2.

He is survived by his wife, Reba Christine Gunn Logan, whom he married in Corpus Christi on August 11, 1972.

Other survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Christi Dawn and Rick Wood of McDade; sons Ricky Lawrence Logan and Joe Davis Logan, both of Gonzales; grandchildren Ricky Wood Jr., Robert Wood and Amber Wood, all of McDade.

He is also survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Vickie and Van Atchley of Houston.

Mr. Logan was an electrician and member of First Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran.

The Rev. Brad Russell officiated at the services with interment at Wrightsboro Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert Lindsey, Gary Keys, J. C. Avant, Billy Gunn, Ronnie Gunn, Rick Wood, Jimmie Borrer and Jeffrey Lester. Junior Collins was an honorary pallbearer.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
