Hazel Siggelkow, 62, of route 2, Withee, died at her home of an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Missionary Alliance Church in Owen, with the Rev. Lester Kringle officiating. Pallbearers were Levi Dickinson, Art Karow, Stanley Bartosiak, Gene Adams, Bob Warden, and Harold Frey. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
The former Hazel Thompson was born Dec. 17, 1908 in Kentucky and came to this area with her parents at an early age and received her education in the town of Maplehurst School, and the Owen High School.
She was married March 18, 1933 in the town of Maplehurst, to Charles Wesley Siggelkow, who survives her. The couple operated a farm in the town of Hixon near Withee.
Mrs. Siggelkow was a member of the Missionary Alliance Church and a Homemaker Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Emil (Beatrice) Presti, Milwaukee; four sons, Charles and Donald both of Milwaukee; John of Owen; and Robert, Athens; eight grandchildren; and three brothers, Herb and Orville Thompson, Owen and Arlie Medford.
