It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of WILLIAM STEVE (BILL) FOLGIZAN on Sunday, February 18th, 2001. Bill was born in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba on May 3rd, 1932. Bill's greatest passions were his family and his work. At his 65th birthday party, the joke was that he would never retire because he was having too much fun and where would he go between coffee breaks? His newly found passion was buying and selling cattle and trips to the ranch. Bill was very involved with his work and the insurance business for which he received numerous awards. He was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Katherine Folgizan, wife, Theresa, son, Gregory, brother-in-law, Walter Stadnyk and mother-in-law, Anne Michaels. Beloved husband of Anita, father of Teresa-Marie (Doug) Mintenko and their children, Derek, Jered and Carlie of Moose Jaw, Vincent (Ruth) Folgizan and their son, Aemil of Vancouver, Christopher (Lee Anne) Folgizan of Regina, Scott (Jana) Wilcox of Saskatoon and Glen Wilcox (Wendy Malanchen) of Edmonton. Bill is also survived by his sister, Francis Stadnyk of Carberry, Manitoba, parents-in-law, Aemil Michaels of Portage la Prairie and Marge King of Moose Jaw, Leo (Eva) King of Paddockwood, Sask., sisters-in-law, Alvera (Ray) Marsh of Saskatoon and Leona King of Moose Jaw as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and his "family" at Folgizan Agencies. The Funeral Service will be held at the Hillcrest Apostolic Church, 1550 Main Street North, Moose Jaw on Thursday, February 22nd, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Della Ferguson will officiate. Burial will follow at the Sunset Cemetery, Moose Jaw. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Dad's "Pet" Charity, The Moose Jaw Humane Society, 1755 Stadacona St. W., Moose Jaw, Sask., S6H 7K7
