MR. GLEN ALLEN DUNLOP, passed away peacefully at Pioneer Lodge in Moose Jaw on Wednesday, March 28th, 2001, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 76 years. Predeceased by his parents, James and Minnie; brothers: Keith, Calvin, Murray and Jack and a sister, Betty. Glen is survived by his daughter, Glenda (Ken) Straub of Moose Jaw, one son, Marvin of Los Angeles, Calif., one grandson, Brad Straub of Sylvan Lake, Alberta; sisters: Lois Levesque and Esther (Norman) Wendt of Moose Jaw; brothers: Grant (Carol) of Moose Jaw and Bill (Ann) of Manitoba as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Glen served in the Second World War and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was employed at the Air Base in Moose Jaw until his retirement. Glen was well known for his musical ability – playing guitar, bass fiddle and singing with "The Calgary Buckaroos" for many years. He also performed on stage preceding such celebrities as Hank Snow and his favorites "The Sons of the Pioneers" and "The Calgary Range Riders". The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 2nd, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. in the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw. Padre Ian Payne will officiate. Royal Canadian Legion Funeral Rites will be conducted at the Chapel by Moose Jaw Branch #59. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 223 Fairford St. E., Moose Jaw, Sask., S6H 0E1 would be appreciated
