WILHELMINA (INA) DAVIS
WILHELMINA (INA) DAVIS passed away peacefully at Union Hospital, Moose Jaw on Sunday, March 25th, 2001 at the age of 86 years. She was born April 10th, 1914 to William and Jemima Paton of Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan. Ina married Cliff Davis in 1943 and the couple moved to British Columbia, where son Garry was born in 1948. They returned to Moose Jaw in 1955 where she worked for many years as a cook at the Canadian Forces Base and enjoyed her involvement in Rebekah Lodge. Predeceased by her parents, four siblings and husband (in 1984), she is survived by son Garry (Beth) Davis, one brother, Jim (Mary) Paton of Saskatoon, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and her devoted friend, Dorrie Proulx. In keeping with Ina's wishes, there will be a brief graveside service on Thursday, March 29th, 2001 at 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery. Dr. Bob Kimmerly will officiate. Those wishing to attend may meet at the Sunset Cemetery entrance at 1:25 p.m. Family requests no flowers, donations may be made in Ina's memory to the charity of your choice.
