FRANK BLANCHARD
FRANKLIN (FRANK) VICTOR BLANCHARD, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2001, at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, with his family by his side. Born November 27, 1932 in Moose Jaw, he farmed and ranched in the Mayberry district most of his life. Frank was predeceased by his father, Arthur in 1945, by his mother, Alice and brother, Jim in 1983 and great-niece, Leanne in 1981. He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his sister, Edna (Earl) Boan, brothers: George (Nan) Blanchard and Gerald (Terry) Blanchard; special nieces : Eunice (Don) Purington, Barb (Al) Pilsner, Pauline (Ray) Lavallee, Darlene Blanchard, Brenda Boan (Gary), Lawana (Laurie) Adie and Bonnie Kirk; special nephews: Garry (Veronica) Blanchard, Russel (Myrna) Blanchard, David (Dianna) Blanchard, Dale Boan (Annette), Terry Boan (Sue), Fred (Rose) Kozar and numerous great and great-great-nieces and nephews. The family were very special to Frank and he always enjoyed family gatherings. Funeral Services will be held at the W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw on Thursday, October 25, 2001 at 3:30 p.m. Della Ferguson will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Foundation for Moose Jaw Union Hospital, 455 Fairford St. E., Moose Jaw, Sask., S6H 1H3 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 1061, Moose Jaw, Sask., S6H 4P8 In living memory of Frank, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
