Mrs. Netta Susana Carper, wife of Wilmer F. Carper of Williamsburg R.D.2, died suddenly at three o'clock Monday morning, Jan 19, 1948 at her home. She was born on August 22, 1910, in Hughsville and was a daughter of John and Emma H. (Temple) Nungesser. They survive to mourn her passing.
In Montour County on June 17, 1930, she was united in marriage with Wilmer Carper. Unitl six months ago when they moved to Williamsburg the Carpers had resided in Warriors Mark.
Her husband and six children, Sarah Mae, Mary Anna, John Edward, Rohland, Lester and Gracie, all at home, are surviving. Other survivors are these brothers and sisters: Mrs. Elizabeth Carper of Williamsburg R.D; Mrs. Mary Wilson of Milton; Mrs. Leoda Meek of Jerseytown; Mrs. Ruth Fretz, Bloomsburg; Mrs Grace Obersol of Orangeville; Mrs. Bertha Smith, Danville; Harriet, Harry, Delbert, Jean, Maxhie, all of Bloomsburg R.D.
She was a member of the Strawberry Ridge Methodist Church at Danville.
Services will be held in the Homer A. Bechtel Funeral home at Williamsburg at 2:30 o'clock on Thursday. Interment will be made in the Burkett Cemetery at Warriors Mark. Friends may call at the Bechtel funeral home in Williamsburg.
