Mrs. Carper, 70, of 217 16th St, Huntingdon, died Sunday, Jan 22, 1989, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon. She was born July 20, 1918, in Williamsburg, the daughter of Roy and Anna (Bathurst) Weaver, and March 23, 1940, in Imler, married Harry P. Carper.
Surviving are her husband, seven children: Leona Flick, Peg Garber, Sarah Miller and Willard of Huntingdon, Anna Grace Hegland of Levittown, Shirley Baumgardner of Gettysburg, and Harry P. Jr. of Strodes Mills; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are four sisters: Violet Biddle of San Antonio, Texas; Lottie Marshall of Imler, Florence Hipp of Huntingdon and Louise Boyer of Cologne, S.D.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon,
