SHOT AND KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY
MEDAL OF HONOR POSTHUMOUSLY
Off. Burns was shot and killed as he was handling a family disturbance call at 582 St. Mary's Street. The suspect was shot and killed by responding backup officers. Off. Burns had 10 years of service with the Department. he was survived by his wife Margaret.
