WEST POINT - William E. "Billy" Wiley, 64, died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2006, at his home in West Point. He was born Nov. 13, 1941, in Clay County to the late Elsie Stafford and Clarence Wiley Sr. He was a "A" fitter for Babcock & Wilcox for 30 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel in West Point with the Bro. Dale Carr officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Carolyn Mann Wiley of Amory, whom he married June 10, 1989; one daughter, Lynn Decker and husband, Eddie, of West Point; one stepdaughter, Pam Buchanan and husband, Art, of Amory; one stepson, Paul Moffett of Amory; two grandchildren, five stepgrandchildren; two sisters, Elaine Corser and husband, Myron, of Irving, Texas, and Nancy Densmore of West Point; one brother, Clarence Wiley and wife, Gladys, of West Point.
He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Penny Carolyn Luna, in 1996.
Pallbearers will be Art Buchanan, Paul Moffett, Marty Luna, John Luna, Martin Luna II, Roger Daniels, Dan Williams and Roy Moon.
Honorary pallbearers will be his coffee buddies at the Tin Lizzie Restaurant and his former co-workers at Babcock & Wilcox.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time today at the funeral home.
