Thomas Benjamin Clark was born March 23, 1892 at Salado, Arkansas. He was brought up under the influence and teaching of Baptists, but September 13, 1908 he became a Christian. In February 1909, he began preaching and continued to be active from that date. In 1911 he was a student in Gunter Bible College. Arkansas Angels, p. 44.
He was married to Bess Bethel Edmondson Clark. Tom was a chaplain in the Seabees during World War II, was pastor of the Liberty Heights Christian Church in Lawton, Oklahoma for many years, and also served as National Chaplain for the National Chapter of the American Legion. --Carolyn Clark Buckley
