Mrs. Brougher worked as a beautician, before retiring. She attended the First Christian Church. Jean enjoyed shopping, her dog, Tinker, and family gatherings.
She was born Nov. 26, 1916, in Goshen, Ind., the daughter of Russel and Mabel (Duffin) Harris. She was married on Easter Sunday, April 1, 1945, to Roy Brougher, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Brougher of Sherman; two nieces, Janet (Jim) Crouch and Kathy Norris, both of Hoopeston; and three nephews, Dan Sheehan of Hoopeston, Don (Jane) Sheehan of Metropolis and Jim (Toni) Brougher of Danville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
