Newport News - MICHAEL LOUIS BOHN, 56, passed away at Riverside Regional Medical Center on Friday, June 6, 2003. A native of Louisville, he had been a Peninsula resident for 35 years. He was stationed at Fort Eustis, VA 1966-1968. He was employed at Newport News Shipbuilding for 35 years. While at Newport News Shipbuilding, he worked in X-11, QID, E-65 and X-10. A 1965 graduate of Flaget Catholic High School, Louisville, Ky., he received his B.S. degree in Business Administration from Christopher Newport University in 1991. He was co-owner of the Uniform Wearhouse, past secretary of the Board of Directors of the Gleneagles Condo Association and a past member of the Progressive Club. Mike's favorite pastimes were spending time with his grandson and playing golf with his wife and friends. Mr. Bohn was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Catherine (Cain) Bohn. Survivors include his wife, Pauline "Chippie" Money Bohn; son, Scott Turner Bohn and his wife, Lisa, of Hampton; grandson, Nicholas Turner-Guy Bohn; sister, Carol Ann Dillion and her husband, Thomas E., of Lexington, Ky.; and three brothers, Daniel Joseph Bohn and his wife, Dolores, Eugene Francis Bohn and his wife, Shirley, and Bruce Albert Bohn, all of Louisville, Ky.; sister-in-law, Nancy M. Jackson, brother-in-law, William R. Jackson Sr. of Grafton; nephew, William R. Jackson Jr. of Grafton; niece-in-law, Kimberly D. Crow of Hampton and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, June 9, at Peninsula Funeral Home. A funeral liturgy will be conducted at noon on Tuesday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church by Father Don Michael Hanna. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family wants to thank all the friends, co-workers and medical staff at Medical College of Virginia and Riverside Regional Medical Center, 5-West, for all their love and support.
