Staff Sgt. Moudry of Baltimore, Md., was due to return to the United States early in November 2006. He and his girlfriend, Nikki Vandennicker of Texas, have an 18-month-old son named Ashton. His nine-year-old son, Chase, lives with Moudry's former wife, Karie. He graduated from Perry Hall High School in 1993 and joined the Army in 1995. His awards and decorations include the Army Service Ribbon, Army Achievement Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, she said. In addition to his children, mother and girlfriend, Moudry is also survived by his father, James Moudry; and two sisters, Jennifer Corbin and Sharon Roof. He was 31.
