We purchased Chanter from a breeder in CA. She was the sweetest poodle with a cute personality. Chanter and Misty were purchased together, even though they were not related. Chanter and Misty were raised together. They were the best of friends and buddies. When we first brought them home, they were like wild animals. They would run through the house like being let out of a gate. Soon they outgrew that wildness. Chanter was a sweet and devoted pet. She was well behaved and very loving. She learned the tricks: roll over and sit up. She was supposed to be the size of a toy poodle. She grew to be a miniature. Chanter had a lot of health problems, but she was so good natured. She developed cancer of the uterus. I miss you and love you Chanter, forever and ever.

Chanter is named after the song "Chanter L'amour".

Misty is named for the song "Misty", and the song "Over the Rainbow", which is my favorite song by Judy Garland.
