MRS. CLINE DIES AT 98
Mrs. Minnie Effie Cline, 98, of 2921 NW 31, died Monday in an Oklahoma City nursing home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Sherman Funeral Home. Committal services will be at 2 p.m. in Perry.
Born in Illinois, Mrs. Cline came to Oklahoma territory in 1901 and settled in Frederick, later moving to Grandfield. She came to the Oklahoma City area about 22 years ago.
Mrs. Cline wrote a column for the Frederick Press and her husband at one time was mayor of Frederick. She was a long-time member of May Avenue Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Johnson, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Maude Keele, Perry; two sons, Roy B. Cline, of Arkansas, and Herbert F. Cline, of the home; two brothers, Dr. D.B. Roe and Lester Roe, both of Oklahoma City; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
