Mr. Hampton, a self-employed painter and wallpaper hanger, died Monday, Feb.28, 1994, at Bolivar Community Hospital.
He was married to Ann Norton Hampton. They had three daughters, Diane Holmes and Elaine Wharton, both of Hornsby, Tennessee, and Pamela Bishop of Memphis, Tennessee.
He had three brothers, Alton Hampton, and Benny Hampton, both of Toone, Tennessee, Roscoe Hampton of Bolivar,Tennessee, and a sister, Ann Dorris of Manchester, Tennessee.
