James Chester Southworth was born December 10, 1919 in Hazelton, Idaho to Thomas Sylvester and Bulah Estelle Southworth.

Jim Southworth, age 90, passed away peacefully while surrounded by his family.

Jim graduated from Hazelton High School in Idaho. Jim was an avid fisherman, hunter, and adventurer. Served in the US Army during World War II and later volunteered for the US Army Air Force.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-five years Marian, daughters Nickie (Brian) Farnsworth, Jamie (Noah) Sifuentes, son Kent (Susan). Preceded in death by daughter Sandra Ainsworth. Survived by eighteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday in the Bluffdale Seventh Ward Chapel 14662 South 3200 West, at 11:00 a.m. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
Interment at The Utah Veteran's Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road.
