|Death: ||Jan. 4, 1835|
Possibly the youngest of 10 of William and Mary Welsh Mackey.
He may have served in the East Tennessee Volunteer Militia, 2nd Reg. Cap. George Key's Co. during War of 1812, researchers believe.
The family name was spelled MACKEY in earliest South Carolina census records. Later records spelled it McKEE and McKEY. The replaced gravestones spell it McKey.
Corrections and additional information are welcome.
