Newspaper article/obituary:

Anna Harber was born July 5, 1887. She departed this life November 23, 1935 at the age of 48 years, 4 months and 18 days.

She was married to George [Berkley] Harber December 9, 1906 [in Clay County, AR], who survives her. To this union were born seven children. They are: Willie [William Ernest] Harber, New Mexico: Mrs. Etolia [Elmer] Shaw, Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Lucille [Robert Henry] Moore, Mrs. Mildred [William Eugene] Meriwether, Floyd, Delbert and Virgil all of Rector. Surviving her also is one sister, Mrs Sallie Dean of Greenway. She was preceeded in death by her sister Mrs. Nora Copeland.

She was converted, baptised in and united with the General Baptist Church of Walnut Grove at an early age, and remained in that church until God called her home.

Her life could be help up as a model one for any wife and mother to copy and live by. One found her always at her duties and ready with a smile and a word of cheer for any who came her way.

She will be greatly missed, not only by her family but by her numerous friends.

Pneumonia claims life of Mrs. G. B. Harber

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Harber, who passed away Saturday, November 23 at her home near here after an illness of ten days with pneumonia, were held at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Community Church Greenway, with Rev. Oscar Robbins, pastor conducting the services.

The many friends that were present at the services and also the beautiful floral offerings were a token of the esteem that the deceased was held in by all who knew her and the family of this fine Christian wife and mother.

Elsewhere in this issue you will find the obituary of Mrs. Harber, as well as the obituary of her sister Lenora Jane Copeland who passed away just ten days before her sister. She died at her home near Greenway, also from pneumonia.
