Robert "Bob" N. Dodson, 64 of 206 E. North St., Lexington, died at 8 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 4, 2000) at the scene of an accident at the Mackinaw River Bridge overpass on Interstate 55.
His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lexington, the Rev. Ed Doerner officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 at Musselman-Beck Funeral Home Lexington.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Lexington Ambulance Association.
Mr. Dodson was born Jan. 23, 1936, in Downs, a son of Warren and Clara Schnider Dodson.
Surviviors include one son, Alan (Lisa) Hardman, Kalamazoo, Mich.; two sisters, Norma Greenlee, Holdenville, Okla., and Helen J. (Melvin) Leake, Lexington; and two brothers, Louis (Eola Dodson, Marissa and Dick (Margaret) Dodson, Bloomington.
One sister preceded him in death.
Mr. Dodson was manager of the True Value of Lexington.
He atended St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Lexington. He was very active in the Lexington community. He was an U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean conflict.
