Obituary: Jamestown NY Evening Journal, August 17, 1928
MRS. MARY BARMORE
Well Known Gerry Woman Dies at Age of 97 Years -- Had Many Interesting Experiences
GERRY, Aug. 17 -- Mrs. Mary Barmore died Thursday afternoon, Aug. 16, after an illness of about two weeks, at the age of 97 years, one month and seven days.
She was born in Hebron, N.Y., and was next to the oldest of 12 children. When only 10 years of age she came to Chautauqua county with her parents, Samuel and Artless Ely, making the trip in a covered wagon. She was first married to George Puller and settled in the west. Mr. Puller died, leaving her with two small children. Returning to Chautauqua county, after a few years she was married to Amos Barmore, who died in 1881. She had lived to see many wonderful improvements and retained her splendid memory to the last.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. R. D. Meahen, with whom she lived, two brothers, John Ely of Kennedy, N.Y. and Perry Ely of Pomona, Calif.; six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The funeral will be held from the home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

Note that her first husband's name is misspelled as PULLER instead of TULLER. Both the 1855 NY Census and the marriage record in Iowa for their son, Edson Tuller, give the name as Tuller. (Not Teller either)
